A Town Between Three Lakes
Tavares sits where Lake Dora, Lake Eustis and Lake Harris come together, joined by the Dead River and the canals of the Harris Chain. Waterfront homes, the Wooton Park area and the older streets near the courthouse are shaded by live oaks, laurel oaks, camphor trees and tall sabal palms, with cypress along the water. Because so many lots run down to a shoreline, the ground is often damp and roots stay shallow. Trees in that soil are more likely to tip in strong wind, so regular tree trimming to reduce weight and wind resistance is one of the best things a Tavares homeowner can schedule.
Removals Done Carefully
When a tree has died, cracked or started to lean toward a house, boathouse or seawall, it is time for a professional tree removal. We set up the bucket truck where the ground can support it, cut the tree in manageable sections, and use our loader and grapple to carry wood to the street without dragging it across your lawn. We then offer stump grinding so the spot can be replanted. Palm work is common here too: removing dead fronds and seed pods or taking out palms that are failing.
Downtown and near the government buildings, we plan around traffic, parking and pedestrians, setting up cones and working in the early morning when streets are quieter.

Drainage, Ditches and Retention Ponds
With this much water nearby, keeping stormwater moving matters. Private ditches, swales and retention ponds around Tavares fill up with cattails, brush, fallen limbs and silt, and then overflow during summer storms. Our stormwater drain restoration and cleaning clears that growth and debris for homeowners, HOAs and commercial properties. Work in or near wetlands or public waters can be regulated, so check with the city or Lake County first; we can explain what is usually needed.
New Building Along US-441 and SR-19
Like much of Lake County, the land around Tavares was once covered in citrus groves, and some of those parcels have since grown up in laurel oak, pine, Brazilian pepper and vines. The US-441 corridor and SR-19 have seen steady construction on wooded and former grove parcels. Our lot clearing crews handle the trees and brush with a forestry mulcher, chainsaws and a log grapple, leaving a clean lot for the builder, and after storms our debris removal service gets yards back in shape. We also serve nearby Eustis and Leesburg.
